IThe name for this cold and flu-relieving blend is dedicated to the esteemed cardiologist, Dr. Daniel Hale Williams. Dr. Williams was the first African American admitted to the American College of Surgeons and founded the first interracial hospital, Provident Hospital and Training School, on the South Side of Chicago where he performed the first successful open-heart surgery on July 9, 1893.
